State Schools Chief Jack O'Connell Announces Publication of California's First Health Education Content Standards New standards represent a major shift in teaching about health. State Superintendent of Public Instruction Jack O'Connell announced the availability of a new publication, Health Education Content Standards for California Public Schools, Kindergarten Through Grade Twelve, which is the first such standards adopted by the State Board of Education. Health Education Content Standards for California Public Schools, Kindergarten Through Grade Twelve is available for purchase through the CDE Press Sales Office at 1-800-995-4099. Order forms are available here or the 72- page publication may be printed here through the California Department of Education Web site.
